Sometimes I go outside and speak to the moon.
The moon never promises anything.
Still, its quiet light invites us to ask questions we cannot ask anywhere else.
This painting captures that moment of standing under the moonlight —
when thoughts drift freely and the night listens without judgment.
The title comes from a poem written nearly 100 years ago by Japanese poet Miki Rofu, whose words expressed the same feeling of quiet wonder beneath the moon.
With its serene color palette and luminous depth, this painting creates a peaceful, meditative focus point in any room, turning your bedroom or personal study into a quiet sanctuary for your evening unwind.
