From Lake Ashi in Hakone, Mount Fuji appears between the mountains, a breathtaking view. Sunlight catches the surface of the lake, making it sparkle, while Lake Ashi, surrounded by mountains, holds a quiet stillness in the air.
This painting was created on location at Lake Ashi. Even without the sea, the wind carries the sound of small waves. I hope this piece brings you that same sense of peace, as if you could hear it echoing from the painting.
